Our Supplier Diversity Program
VCU Health believes that promoting diversity strengthens our entire organization and values the importance of maintaining a supplier base that is reflective of the diverse populations of the communities we serve. VCU Health seeks to include diverse suppliers and small businesses in both our contracting and subcontracting opportunities. To participate in VCU Health Supplier Diversity program, a business must be at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by member(s) from one of the following targeted groups or businesses recognized as:
- Minority-owned Business Enterprise
- Women-owned Business Enterprise
- Veteran-owned Business Enterprise
- Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Business Enterprise
- Disability-owned Business Enterprise

Tier II Program
Non-diverse businesses support our Supplier Diversity program by providing subcontracting opportunities to diverse suppliers. We expect our prime contractors and suppliers to mirror our commitment to supplier diversity by creating subcontracting opportunities for diverse suppliers on VCU Health contracts and report results.
